New iPhone App a
First for the Death Care Industry
WHEELING, IL— The Cremation Association of North America (CANA)
announces the release of the first mobile association application for cremation
professionals. Now members of the association will be able to connect with the
CANA community anywhere, anytime via iPhone®, iPad®, and iPod Touch®
devices.
The new CANA App will enable members to search for fellow
mobile community members, view member profiles, access their messaging centers
and connection lists, and post to their connections' walls
Additionally, they can accept connection requests, read the
latest news on the CANA mobile feed, and upload and view photo galleries.
The CANA app is available at no cost to CANA members, who
can download it for free from iTunes or the App Store on their IOS
devices.
CANA President Mike Nicodemus is delighted to introduce
another service to members. "This new CANA app offers our members a number
of ways of staying connected," he said. "I'm very pleased we are able
to add this latest technology as a member value." CANA will release
more details about their new app and how to use it in the next issue of the
association’s magazine, The
Cremationist.
Robert M. Boetticher, Jr., CANA’s Second Vice President,
