The Crematory Operators Certification Program is designed to provide death care professionals of all backgrounds and levels of experience with a thorough knowledge of the practice, the risks, and the proactive measures one can take to have a prosperous cremation practice. CANA has certified thousands of operators over twenty years. This program is endorsed by NFDA, FAMIC, state boards, and state associations, the New York Department of State Division of Cemeteries, and has been included as a curriculum requirement at Worsham College of Mortuary Science, Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, John A. Gupton College, and Kansas City Community College.
