CANA Certification: online, on-demand, now on your profile.

From the very first crematory operations certification to online education courses to the newest CANA-Certified Cremation Specialist program, CANA is committed to providing you with the tools you need to advance your career. Now, CANA has partnered with Accredible to issue proof of this valuable training—digitally.
Rather than relying on mail, CANA Certificates are now distributed by email to print at the office and showcase on your social media profile, website or resume. Digital badges can be added to your email signature to convey your professional designation or added to your LinkedIn certifications in 1-click.
  • Display accreditation in your professional field.
  • Reflect the effort and prestige taken to earn it.
  • Show potential employers that you have up-to-date and relevant skills.
  • Share your achievements with peers and prospective employers.
  • Export for display in other platforms and social media.

YOUR DIGITAL CERTIFICATE

Picture
Rather than relying on mail, your certificate will be emailed directly to you. From that link, you can download a pdf to print from your home or office. Misplace it? Simply download and print again! No waiting, just a certificate sent directly to you.

Each certificate features a unique QR code so that regulators and employers can verify that you're CANA Certified. When scanned, the QR code points to a landing page with your name, CANA's information, the expiration date, and additional information about the course.  You can try it yourself with the QR code here:

YOUR DIGITAL BADGE

The digital badge you will receive from CANA and Accredible is a way for you to share your achievement. Digital badges allow you to stand out as a certified expert in our industry and give you verified credibility. When you share your badge in your email signature, website or social media channels, your client families — and prospective employers — can immediately see information about your knowledge and skills, verified by us.

GO DIGITAL

Digital certificates and badges allow you to showcase your achievements and the skills you’ve learned through related coursework.
The best news — there is no additional cost to receive a general education badge! The digital badge is earned by completion of the Crematory Operations Certification Program or becoming a CANA-Certified Cremation Specialist.
Your digital certificate and badge are:
  • Always Accessible - Never worry about losing your certificate — ever. Your credential will always be available online.
  • Easily Shareable - You want to celebrate your achievement. Digital credentials let you showcase your achievement on Facebook, LinkedIn and a dozen other social channels with one click.
  • Control Your Privacy - Take advantage of searchability and have your achievement be discoverable on search engines, or set it to private and share with only selected people. How and when you share your credential is up to you.
  • Print at Any Time - Easily print a high-quality PDF of your certificate, whenever you’d like.
  • Learning, Verified - Your achievements can be verified at any time. Your badge is linked to your live credential so anyone, anywhere can see what you have achieved.
  • Portable and Exportable Achievements - Embed your credential on your own website, in your email signature or save a PDF of your credential.

RETRIEVING YOUR BADGE

Once you have been issued a badge from us, you will receive an email notification from [email protected]. Please allow at least 2 weeks after you complete your exam for your credential notice to be delivered. The notification email will be delivered to the email address you supplied when you registered and will give you a link to your badge and certificate.
Your digital badge should give you recognition for your newly-earned professional designation. With our secure digital badges, your new skills and knowledge can be verified and shared with employers, colleagues, or recruiters.
To get the most out of your digital badge, you can:
  • Add it to your ‘Certifications’ on LinkedIn (you can do this with one click on the credential)
  • Share it to your social media feed to update your network
  • Add your badge and designation to your email signature and company website to communicate your new status
