Traditional burial has remained relatively the same for decades, but the non-traditional sector is constantly evolving. We will also have hands-on demonstrations on practical topics, like how to wrap a body with a biodegradable burial shroud.

Panels of speakers open up discussion-focused sessions, where participants can ask questions or bring up topics directly with the speaking experts. Kilian Rempen was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He studied Marketing & International Business at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles before moving to Boulder, CO where he worked in the public housing sector. Kilian then moved to Southeast Asia working in IT and teaching English before moving back home to Albuquerque and joining Passages International as the Marketing Manager. Over the last 5 years, Kilian has been published in The Cremationist, Funeral Business Advisor, The Director magazine, ICCFA's Memento Mori, Southern Funeral Director Magazine, and more.
